Center for Studies in Health Services Management
The Center for Studies in Health Services Management was created in July 2008 with the objective of promoting research and knowledge production in the area of health services management.
In the last few years, the health sector has faced numerous challenges, mainly with regard to the quality of the services offered, the reduction of costs and the increase in productivity. For this reason, health service managers are increasingly looking for models and concepts that help them to optimize results.
However, there is still little research and structured knowledge on health service management, especially in Brazil. Thus, CESS aims to fill this gap by developing research on the most current and challenging topics in the management of companies in this sector.
